AnythingPink, i perceive you as an intellectual. Am I wrong to think that you also disagree that there is such a large conspiracy such as the one you are portraying?
I'd like to believe you simply brought this up to discuss as a point of entertainment.

Well if by entertaining, you mean for me to see what others think/respond then in a way yes. I enjoy knowing people's stance points on conspiracies.

Maybe I was a bit too much into this discussion without enough hardcore evidence to REALLY backup my points.. But I still do believe in these secret societies. I may not have the proof I need to justify my claims, but surely as stated: Men with power, use power for corruption.

And I'm sorry that my views are different from most people. Then again I have always been the type that focuses on the negative, because to me the negative is not to be taken lightly.

Subliminal - below the threshold of conscious perception

Something subliminal would not outright say anything such as "eat your baby", it defeats the whole purpose of having intentions to send out a subliminal message.

just thought I'd throw this out here since you kinda missed my point
subliminal messages are transmitted below the threshold of our conscious perception... the message itself still has to have a meaning for it to matter at all... the subliminal part just refers to the fact that we don't know we are hearing it and we can't make ourselves aware of it unless we alter the transmission in some way (like playing it backwards, changing the frequency etc..)

if gibberish is transmitted subliminally to us it would have no meaning..

and as far as the whole secret society / conspiracy thing goes... I can't say it's convincing enough for me... then again I've never really cared about such things to begin with...

I think you might be looking to much into this. I'm not sure if it's due to me not being religious, or what, but saying that "music if from the devil" is just silly. I'm not saying that music can't/doesn't have meaning, but really if songs like Disturbia and Poker Face are corrupting people, blame it on the generic, numbing beat and poorly constructed lyrical content.
