I love it when morons new to the series say its Big Boss when they have no clue what they're talking about. That eye patch is detachable. He has both eyes. Why? Because its Solid Snake whos a clone of Big Boss. Look it up. Good render.

OK QUICK EXPLANATION: Big Boss (the star of MGS3) has been dead in the series since Metal Gear 2 (on the NES). MGS3 Snake Eater takes place in the 1960s before any of the other games. Just go to Wikipedia and read a synopsis of the series plot if you still don't understand, but that render IS Solid Snake. (And it's a good render btw, thanks.)

SPOILER ALERT! The REAL Big Boss appears in end the of MGS4, he dies there. The "Big Bosses Corpse" in the MGS4 is really the corpse of Solidus. And ye, Solid Snake aka Old Snake in MGS4, did not lose his eye, but he uses solid eye which has nightvision mode, zoom etc. Watch few of the last cutscenes in MGS4 and you will see big boss

Yeah, MGS3 is my favorite MGS too... I just love the atmosphere, environment, story and the Big Boss(not in gay way). But seriously guys, WATCH the cutscenes and find out about the story before you start to talk total BS, no offence.
